AmeriCorps Educational Mentor
Become part of our new AmeriCorps mentoring program. This program is designed to help students that are transitioning back into high
school from Juvenile Court Services. The Educational Mentors are there to support and guide these students, letting them know that
there are people that care about them and want them to succeed. This mentoring program requires more time, but there are benefits
such as educational awards, income, and other types of recognition. For more information on this program please call our office 239-9890.
AmeriCorps Peer Mentor
This program branches off the Educational mentors. To be a peer mentor you must be in high school. Peer mentors set times that they
will be available to their mentees at school. (i.e. Every Tuesday after school, I will sit in the library for 30 minutes if you want to talk.)
It will be up to the mentor and mentee when they would like to meet and how often.
